Stars Fell on Alabama is the quintessential rom-com plot of bringing your movie star client to your high school reunion because you need a date or else be ridiculed by classmates from 15 years ago. It was recorded recently by guitarist Frank Vignola (2000), saxophonist Harry Allen (2001), and bassist Phil Baker (2004).There’s nothing like a high school reunion to make you revisit your bucket list and notice that there’s an unchecked box to get married and have kids. CONSĬamtasia is very simple, the features that make it an excellent video editor make it a software that doesn't meet the needs of all the projects we may have in mind, not to mention the post-production of some long footage, we couldn't get something elaborate with the native resources of this video editor. ![]() In my opinion, this is a very good first video editor for those who want to enter the world of post-production and audiovisual development, its price is accessible and that is exactly what makes this my first suggestion to any beginner. PROSĬamtasia is a really simple video editor, I like how it works, I like what it can do, but above all, I like that it leaves you to create videos in such simple and easy ways, Camtasia seems to be focused on the beginner user, or the one who wants to do simple and good quality videos. The price is very affordable and I highly recommend this video editor if you want to create school projects or aimed at a work group, from there on out it would not be the best option. I like Camtasia to edit and create simple videos focused on brands and students because it allows us to create interesting and didactic audiovisuals, this video editor fulfills that function very well, but when developing a major production project, I would not even bother to open this software, because I know previously it will not help me. It seems to me that it lacks an autosave option, I have already had to lose a few hours of work due to a power failure. Some things are missing customization options, but you rarely miss them - The templates and elements that are included are limited, if you want more they have a cost that seems high to me if you have already paid for the software. ![]() The program takes a while to start, but once opened, it works smoothly even if you don't have a large computer, in my case, with 8 GB of ram I can use it correctly. What I think can be improved is really little. It has subtitle function - Easily separate the sound from the video and you can easily control the volume - Video documentation is very good CONS The export is simple and different profiles can be handled. Video pan and zoom tools are easy to use. It has audio effects, few but functional and well selected, noise reduction, fade in and fade out. Its screenshot tool is great, it has the correct and enough options, it allows to capture the screen and the webcam at the same time and edit them in separate channels. Among its best features are: - Easy to edit videos, take part of them, make cuts, speed up or slow down and manage layers - You can easily add shapes, arrows, texts and graphic elements, and it is very easy to define their duration and position in the video. It is a very easy program to use, but at the same time, it is full of tools that make your work easier and allow you to obtain very good results. ![]() The cost-benefit ratio seems very good to me. It includes the screenshot tool which works perfectly. Its ease of use allows you to obtain quality results without being an expert in the area of video editing. ![]() Camtasia is a program that helps me enormously in my work, although there are very powerful video editors, they become complicated to use and have a very high cost. ![]() ![]() ![]() The Brewers took a 1-0 lead just seven pitches in after consecutive doubles by Yelich and Willy Adames and by the end of the inning they'd logged four two-baggers and four runs.īrian Anderson doubled in Adames, then Luke Voit singled in the third run and scored the fourth himself on a highlight-reel play as he chugged all the way around the bases on Mike Brosseau's double to left and slid in just under the tag of Luis Campusano. And also between the various pigments like Cobalt and Cobalt Blue Hue, etc. ![]() Because of this, Ultramarine may hold its body better in mixes while Cobalt may wash out. Ultramarine tends to be more intense than Cobalt, while Cobalt is known for being delicate. But again, Cobalt can appear highly granulating when mixed with a transparent pigment. This makes Cobalt the winner in glazing where Ultramarine may streak or settle unevenly. Both are granulating pigments, but Cobalt tends to be less so and appears clearer. If Cobalt is mixed with a highly transparent color, it may separate (see photo.) Some really like this effect some do not. Ultramarine is transparent Cobalt is semi-transparent. Cool colors like to recede in a painting, so Cobalt may work better for shadows and background blues, while Ultramarine prefers attention. Ultramarine is typically warmer Cobalt tends to be cooler. Graham Cobalt it is more vibrant than W&N, especially in earth tone mixes, but Cobalt still can't compare to the excellent mixes that I get with Ultramarine. You can see in the Cobalt swatches above that the Daniel Smith sample dot was barely enough to paint a swatch. I'm interested in experimenting more with DS cobalt, though it will have to be at a later date another tube of Cobalt just isn't in my budget this month. It's also more affordable than W&N (plus plus). It looks a lot stronger on paper than W&N (con: not as easy to do smooth glazes and washes) but holds up pretty well in a mix (plus). So far, my favorite Cobalt in mixes has been M. I rarely use any pigment straight out of the tube but prefer to adjust it or "dirty it up" a bit. Because of this, I was hesitant about giving W&N Cobalt a permanent place in my palette, so I experimented with a few more brands. It's so delicate that it quickly went washy, even with very little water. ![]() PB28 is a more expensive pigment, so PB29 or other blue pigments are substituted to lower cost. This can be confusing for a beginning watercolor artist and is a perfect example of why it's important to ignore manufacturer names and learn to be a label reader.Īs much as I enjoyed playing around with Winsor & Newton cobalt, I noticed that it didn't perform well in mixes. Many cobalt hues and student-grade "cobalts" use PB29 which is the typical pigment in Ultramarine. All of the Cobalts below are PB28 except for Grumbacher Academy's student-grade C obalt Hue, which really looks more like an ultramarine because it is. (I know, tricky. Since then, I've played a bit with various cobalts. W&N Cobalt turned out to be a lovely, clear, soft shade of blue and has worked much better than Ultramarine for capturing these misty mountaintops and snow-dusted hills. Quite pricey, but the best I could do in a pinch. This pigment code stands for Pigment Blue #28, which is the standard blue pigment used in cobalt watercolor. I trekked down to the art store and grabbed the smallest tube of artist-grade Cobalt I could find (oh when will you paint manufacturers sell over-the-counter testers?!?!), Winsor & Newton Professional (PB28). (And I'll get to those below in Cobalt vs Ultramarine: What's the Difference?) Being familiar with some of these characteristics, I thought that cool Cobalt might work better as a go-to mountain blue. I wanted to try Cobalt because so many artists compare it to Ultramarine. When I recognized that Ultramarine wasn't working for me here, I immediately sought out Cobalt. ![]() ![]() ![]() Meanwhile, if you have any suggestions or feedback please drop in your message on our Facebook page.
